jefcon (850), Arlington, Virginia, USA Nov 25, 2005 Seasonal draft. Amber and clear in the glass with a frothy white head and some lacing. Lots of malty aromas and earthy grains. The palate of the beer is well-wrought, with a grainy center that smacks of Cheerios and a hop finish which is somewhat dry and fruity. There is also a corn element to the brew, which I mistrust, but on the whole this is a rounded, tempered ale.
