Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness. Ernest (4481), Boulder, Colorado, USA Dec 16, 2007 Falling Rock (GABF 2007 week).
Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is dark amber to medium brown.
Aroma is moderately malty (caramel), with a strong note of bourbon, notes of wood and sulphur.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Seems to be bourbon barrel aged, specifically, but I’m not sure about that. Certainly extremely whisky-ish, way too much for my tastes.
