Dec 6, 2007 Flaske. En anelse bedre end sin stærkere fætter men ikke meget. Igen er det sødmen der fuldstændigt slår en i gulvet. Mangler totalt friskhed fra både gæren og humlen til at slå igennem sødmen. Ikke en god trippel.

Dec 2, 2007 Updated: Jan 11, 2009A good, light, citrusy ale. Golden color with a nice and large white head. Aroma is decently hoppy. It is very refreshing yet strong (you can taste the 9% abv). Worth spending the $8-9. I thought the bottle said that the brewer was Leyereth Breweries (Ruiselede), but I am assuming this is the US importer. Dry and lively carbonation.

Pours a lovely hazy golden with a big frothy white head. Aroma is quite fruity, with lemons, apples, oranges and peach coming through. Nice full and very creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is vinious and equally fruity to the aroma. The oranges appear in numbers, but also peach and pineapple. A nice subdued floral bitterness at the end. Definitely not as citric sour as other Tripels can be - and that’s a plus in my book.

Nov 6, 2007 From 11.2 oz bottle- poured transparent golden yellow, fizzy head, moderate carbonation, aroma of yeast and fruit. Hits the mouth with carbonation, very thin body, heavy alcohol notes from start to finish, very little fruit feel, finish is dry however. Was this batch rushed? Tastes like it.

Bright yellow body with a soft white head. Very active. Nose is fruity (banana) and yeasty. Flavor is breadie with esters, fruit (pear), alcohol, pepper and somewhat sour.

Oct 21, 2007 [At Ølbaren] Hazy golden with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with hints of yeast. Flavor has honey, fruits and is rather sweet. Finishes dry.
