Oct 1, 2007 Updated: Mar 25, 2009 Bottle from BOE 30-09-07 Pours light amber with a white fluffy head. Spice, yeast and pepper are present on the nose. Tasted of vanilla, alcohol (too prevalent throughout) and spicy again. A6 A3 F7 P4 OV15 3.3 Bottle from a bottle shop in Edinburgh, 20-03-09 consumed 24-03-09 Was convinced that I hadn’t had this before and only when I’ve just logged on that I realised I had, but hey that serves me right for not having an electronic gadget to do a quick scan before purchasing. Was pleased that my rating was remarkably consistent with the previous one of eighteen months ago though. Pours hazy golden in colour, slightly boozy nose with spices and yeast waffting off also, but its the alcohol that lingers the longest. Taste is very warming mainly due to the alcohol, there are touches of nutmeg amongst the spices, its a touch sweet but alcohol is evident throughout, despite this its still a likeable beer. Sep 29, 2007 Updated: Jun 28, 2008Pours a brilliant orange with a white head. Aroma is yeast and some sweet fruits, some spice and fruit rind. Flavor is a sweet malt with fruit tones. A tinge of shaving cream and some spices. Body is medium to light.
Re-rate: Cloudy yellow/apricot with a white head. Aroma is spices with belgian yeast and a slight hint of banana. Flavor is light fruits with some white wine butteriness. Swet finish that fades to dry. 6/4/6/3/13

Sep 22, 2007 Dark yellow colored, strongly cloudy appearance. Big yellow head. Strong aroma: grains dominating with sweet fruits and yeast, not very tripelish aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is also grainy, strong alcohol and yeast also present. Sweetness is obvious there too. Not very well balanced brew. Alcohol and yeast in aftertaste.
