Aroma of phenolic lemon fruits and garden flowers. Flavor is a lucious sweet candied lemon rind, peppered with Grains of Paradise, coriander and juniper. It’s redolent with savory herbs and sweeping light caramels. Drawn out yeast notes play into a realm of light choppy bitterness notes, with some balance. As with the style, a touch of cloying qualities. A quite respectable, delicious and well-built Tripel. Needs some nuanced character. BeerDude78 (87), Denville, New Jersey, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 25, 2006 Nice spice and over ripe fruit and bitter apple flavors. Dry, champaigne like finish. Smelled like it would be sweet, but was not at all. Crisp and smooth. hopscotch (5549), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Bottle... Clear, yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Aromas of pear, bubblegum, smoke and clove. Sweet, fruity flavor up front, but decent balance is achieved via good bittering hops... there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of aromatic hops. That’s to style, I suppose. Lightly tangy. Full-bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean. Dopplebock1538 (71), Sanatoga, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2006 Bottled - Cambrinus - Brugge. A copper coloured beer with a huge marshmallow of a white head. The aroma is lemony and yeasty. Quite true to style. The taste is very yeasty with lots of dominant alcohol. Lemony citricity. Nice but that alcohol does intrude a little. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England
