| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 30, 2005 Bottle. Clouded gold with a tall foamy white head. Nose is lightly spiced with big flowery notes, yeast, ripe fruits, and candy sugar. Taste is sweet and malty with nice flowery notes throughout. The yeast creeps in duirng the whole experience while ripened fruit notes vie for attention. Body is light-medium with lots of carbonation feel. Light lingering bitterness during the finish along with more yeast, flowers in bloom, light candied fruit notes, malt and spicy hops. Nice beer! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2005 Mmmm. Pours nice and yellow with a thick head that stays. Nice lacing around the glass. Yeast and citrus are dominant, with more emphasis on the citrus. The malt balances everything out just slightly, and the aftertaste lingers nicely. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 21, 2005 Draught. Extremely frothy head above a hazy yellow body. The aroma is strange, somewhat sweet, and very fruity; almost like opening up a can of peaches while enthralled by dried banana chips, below dozen of hanging melons. Soft, bubbly feel in the mouth with lots of yeast character bringing forth loads of fruit, especially grapefruit. Slow bitter finish with a touch of hops. Very tasty, but its a bit overly sweet at its core. walleye (879), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA

Cloudy, light amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Nose is cidery, starts on the sweet side, finishes mellow, the high ABV is not noticable, taste is difficult to describe but its good! Excellent triple. 750ml bottle for $7.20 from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 12, 2005 (Bottled) Hazy golden with an enormous, lacy head (opaque orange with yeast). Very fruity and fresh, sweetish candy aroma with honey. Sweet and sugary flavor of fruit, fruit and yet more fruit. Some acidity and hop bitterness, too. Medium to full-bodied with lots of foamy but quite smooth carbonation and warming, yet not disturbing alcohol. Most enjoyable as you get to the yeasty part. Overall a quite nice, fruity and refreshing, but still warming tripel. Better have at least a Duvel glass available, though, as the head is one of the largest ones I’ve seen: a 0.33 liter bottle easily fills up at least three 0.33 liters tulip glasses! kms399 (267), plymouth, Minnesota, USA
