Cloudy amber body with a creamy head. Lots of fruit in the nose: pears, apples, grapefruit. A veritable fruit cocktail. Big carbonation (popped cork) and medium body. Fruity, spicy, very alcoholic taste.

almost looked like a dark color of pilsner.. it had a very light white head that quickly disapated and a fairly strong aroma of sweetness... hints of grapefruit and maybe some bannana or some other fruit... palate was fairly avg w/ some strong carbonation.. the flavor was definatelly fruity w/ hints of alcohol a bit of orange peel and something a touch spicy in the aftertaste. Overall not bad but I think the alcohol is not subtle enough and tends to overpower some of the other flavors.

Light tan, with a thick, fluffy head. Aroma of ripened pear, grapefruit, cabbage (always with the cabbage from van steenberge) peppery malts, and yeast. Slight carbonation with lots of yeast flavour and fruits on the tongue. Despite the sweet start, this dries out significantly with a big shot of alcohol, orange rind, and hop.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is fruity (melon and banana) and spicy (cloves). Flavor follows that formula. Flavors don’t mesh nearly as well as in some other tripels. Alcohol flavor is somewhat overpowering.

Draught. Pours opaque yellow with a moderate head. Tastes spicy and dry for a tripel but is good.

Poured golden yellow with thick off white head...smelled yeasty, floral, and peppery...taste was light fruits, apples etc. up front, fading into peppery yeasty dryness...nice overall though...

left lace. Fruity yeast in aroma and taste, but not overwhelmingly so. Good tripel. Some sweetness and spicyness

Floral aroma. Large bubbly head that dissipates a bit. The taste is sweet initially, but finishes dry and spicy. Well done.
