| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 23, 2009 Pours a cloudy light orange with a medium fluffy head that recedes to a heavy film. Aroma is of yeast, light fruits (non-citric), spice, warm milk. Flavor is very tangy, in a good way, and sends shivers down me shoulders. A little chewing reveals dark and light fruit, nice medium spice balance, and cream. Very elegant for a light-colored ale. Booze is there, but never overpowering. Mellow chest warmth develops after the 3rd or so sip. Mouthfeel is hearty, above average. Would recommend to Tripel fans and non alike. Overall, very good minus. ljay6880 (160), , Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a Hazy, deep golden color with a thick billowy head, which leaves little lacing. Aroma is yeast, earth, honey, and light fruit. Taste is very much the same, but it has a dry finish. This was a very refreshing beer, as well as delicious. ononews9 (25), Hanover, Pennsylvania, USA

Complex, spicy flavor, but a little bit of funkiness which definitely detracts. Full bodied palate. Bit of a hit and miss beer. I prefer their Samaranth. topherh (940), Kearney, Missouri, USA
