Blond-headed, with a gold colored, slightly hazed body. Doughy malts up front, follow by a scent of lemonade and bread crust. Not very hoppy, not very spicy either, some subtle tones of grass and mild spices only. Taste is medium sweet and grainy, almost like breakfast cereals. A fine lemony fruitiness underneath. Tones og fresh yeast and mild spices. Alcohol is very well msked. Softly carbonated body, leading to a slick and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes on the drier side, with a fine fruitiness and a noticeable hoppy bite. Very likable.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2009 Big offwhite lasting head. Hazy yellow body with small particles and powerful carbonation. Light floral apple aroma with herbal fruity metal notes. Dry herbal floral toffee taste with soft metallic notes. Very harmonic and fresh palate. Sharpish, hot mouthfeel. Light in body. Dry fruity herbal floral aftertaste with soft metal and spicy Belgian yeast notes plus honey. Excellent and highly drinkable. Mildly funky character. Gets a bit sweet after about 0.5l liters. Could use a wee bit more hops (or less residual sugar). (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly.) Beer2000 (1845), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 25, 2009 Pours a hazy blonde with a thick, rocky white head. Aroma is spicy and of citrus and flowers. Well balanced flavor that starts of sweet and flowery and then evolves into a bitterness that stays for a long decent finish. There is some alcohol presence however. Good carbonation is completes a good brew. wingman333 (250), San Antonio, Texas, USA

Pours a tiny bubbled off white head with beautiful "Belgian Lacing", over a golden (SRM 5) many particled body.....nose is spicy, with allspice, bit of clove, bit of cardamom .......taste is light dried fruit, bit of pineapple, then becomes sharp with ground black pepper, finishing somewhat bitter.....mouth feel is medium, carbonation, after the initial pour is low, but makes a nice creamy finish. The alcohol is well hidden, the spices come forward, a fairly typical Triple, which is to say a gift of the gods of brewing.
