Mar 25, 2009 On tap at Naked City. Pours clear golden with a nice white head. Nose is citrus and floral hops. Amazingly clean, smooth, and drinkable with a well balanced sweet citrus hop taste. Full bodied with a nice hop finish.

Mar 22, 2009 Hazy gold color, large fizzy white head, lots of floating sediment. Nose smells a little off, perhaps past its best, and is very grainy with a lot of wheat and bitterness. Flavor is similarly off, yet shows banana, honey, spice, and some significant bitterness. Reminiscent of a dry tripel with significant hop contributions. Moderate mouth with decent carbonation, sweet finish in fruit and hop. Overall not bad, but there are far better examples.

Mar 21, 2009 Hoppy, floral aroma. Flavor of a sweet, creamy, fruity tripel. Has a good hop aroma and decent bitterness. Honey flavors as well. Finish is long and bitter. The hops seem to be more aroma than bittering, but the finish works well. A big beer with a bit better hopping than usual for the style. Very enjoyable.

Mar 19, 2009 Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy golden with a small frothy white head and a lot of carbonation. The aroma is a fruit malt with yeast and caramel. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a sweet fruit with a spicy pepper finish. Easy to drink as it hides the alcohol well. A very good Belgain strong ale from De Koningshoeven.

Mar 16, 2009 This beer that I had in a 33 cl bottle, pours a fine head. It starts very bitter and this taste endures some time. With every next sip the bitter gets less. Very nice aroma bitters accompany this rather dry beer. It is designed around the hops. A much enjoyed beer.

Mar 8, 2009 Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Pallid yellow colour; with a s slight haze. Decent sized white head. Sweetish aroma with yeast, hop and citrus notes. Flavour started sweetish and malty, then turned dry and somewhat floral ending up in a hopy, bitter sweet finish. Alcohol masked quite well. All in all a drinkable and enjoyable drop.

Feb 20, 2009 Pours a dirty yellow and is very cloudy. HUGE fluffly white head which left lace all over my glass.Smells sour and spicy too. Citrus, malt, and hopps blend well together.Taste of floral hops, lemon, and grapefruit.Light bodied with bubbly carbonation and at 9.5% ABV very smooth.
