Smells of hay, orange, banana and coriander. Medium body, lots of carbonation. Just a bit of bread and caramel with big bitter hop flavors kicking in right away: grapefruit and pine resin, a slight mineral edge. Nice bitter aftertaste with a little sweetness. jtheye (12), Roeland Park, Kansas, USA

I was hoping for something special. This is above average, but if I could do it all over again I’d spend my ten bucks on a six-pack of IPA instead. I agree with stkune below -- Just not hoppy enough to justify the name. stkune (1), , Alaska, USA does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 26, 2009 750 mL bottle, cloudy gold color with thick white head, taste is complex but considering the name just not enough hops, RichardGretton (3153), Leicestershire, England

The aroma is deeply spiced, malty and bitter. The flavour has layers, it is very rich, spiced and bitter. Overall a very nice beer. flatmatt (228), Northville, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2009 330 mL bottle. Pours slight hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is fresh green apple, a mild sweetness, and a bit of hops. Flavor has a stronger floral hop presence along with biscuits and cloves. The combination of flavors doesn’t quite work and turns out slightly chalky, but despite that it remains reasonably enjoyable. Alcohol comes through a little, too. Nice solid carbonation. Pours Clear yellow golden with a huge white head and lots of floaties. Aroma mostly malts and a metallic hint. Not the hops I was expecting. As JoeinUccle said before me, citrus restrains. Alcohol well hidden. Sticky dry finish. bonfunck (149), Waasmunster, Belgium

The bitterness is a bit overall but that’s good when you like the hop flavour JoeinUccle (911), Brussels, Belgium
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2009 A sweet and alcoholic beer with decent hopbitterness, lacking in cohesion. Pours golden with fluffy white head. Smells very pils-malty with a metallic edge, restrained citrus. Sweet flavor with healthy dose of bitterness that rolls in late on lively carbonation. Finish defines bittersweet. A bit sticky. Substantially sweeter and boozier than I’d like, and lacking in hop aroma.
