| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2008 Slight fruity aroma. Too malty for this beer to be called "Hop-It." I am not impressed with the Netherland version of a "hoppy beer." Now I know how the Europeans feel about Americans trying to brew European like beers. The head is very bubbly. The beer also has a very gold/peach color to it. The beer did not seem to be very thick when it poured, and it is very carbonated. Too fruity to be promoted as a hoppy beer. Tell you the truth this beer is okay. I am dumb founded. This flavoring hop is there, but the bittering and aroma hop are absent. A fruity and hoppy mix. The belgian part of the beer is great, and the hoppy part is subtle, but the hops seem a bit thrown in the mix type deal. I think the flavors are fine, but the idea is not developed enough for it to be as good as it should be. This beer is a Belgian beer with some hops thrown in the mix when it has no business being there. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA

Smells light and sweet malty with just a hint of hops. Tastes way sweet and malty with only faint sweet hop flavor. Hops are earthy and very sweet. I was not impressed. Medium to thickish body, ok carbonation. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2008 A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with a very nice foamed head. An aroma of hop, malt and some spices. Also notes of flowers. The taste from hop bitter, very tastefull, and a little spicey and fruity. A very good beer. dmradus (225), State College, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 7, 2008 Opaque orange-yellow, large two-finger small bubble head that lasts considerably. Nice nose: lots of spice in clove and pepper, some alcohol, slightly floral and lemon - prototypical tripel aroma taken to a nice high octave. Spicy yeast is most noticeable characteristic in the taste, with clove and some lemon and grassy, floral tones. End-palate is off-puttingly alcoholic to the point of fusel-like notes, also some spiciness from the alcohol...but all alcohol in the finish. Dry, spicy, grassy aftertaste. High carbonation but maintains very nice, thick mouthfeel.
