| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 29, 2008 Pours a big carbonated cloudy pale golden with a white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, banana, light candy sugar and hay. Flavor is medium sweet, grassy, some banana, peach and a nicely balanced bitterness. Long dry finish. Light-medium body with some creaminess. Really a great beer unlike any other Belgian strong I have had before. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Feb 19, 2008 750 ml. brown, Belgian bottle. Corked & caged. Poured out a hazy yellow color, with absolutely no carbonation whatsoever. Major points off for that.
Aromas are of cheesy hops, stale malts. Nasty all around. Certified drain pour. I’m going back & getting a refund.
Maybe I got a bad bottle? yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2008 From tap at Den tatoverede Enke. Pours slight hazy and golden orange with a huge dense and lasting white head. Aroma is yeasty, light fruity and slight acidic. Sweet, yeasty and light fruity flavour. Has the strange mix between hops oil and belgian yeast, strange/unusual yet still pleasant. Ends with a growing bitterness, as if the hops stick to your tongue. mreeves (257), Sammamish, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Golden color, good carbonation and a nice, pillowy head. Spicy, tangy, sort of a salty taste to it. Yeasty, grassy, not as hoppy as I was expecting for a beer called "Hop-It". I guess this is the Belgian/Dutch interpretation of lots of hops, which isn’t quite what I’m used to. A nice beer, but nothing outstanding. mmmbeer (762), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 15, 2008 Pint 9 oz. bottle poured into tumbler- poured cloudy dull golden yellow, huge white head formed and slowly laced away, medium carbonation. Aroma of floral hops with yeast and malt. Hits the mouth with a medium body, sweet notes are laced with the thick body, finish of earthy hops. AmEricanbrew (1925), Wynot, Wyoming, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 14, 2008 Murky light amber color with a huge head. Fruity yeasty, bready aroma. Dry grainy malt taste up front with a bittersweet herbal hop flavor to finish. Another tasty belgian brew here. 1207 MiP (9099), Sønderborg, Denmark
