| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2007 A very interesting combination....enough hops for at least an IPA (if not near a double) but very much like a Belgian strong. Definitely more fruity hops than bitter hops...with a head not necessarily either an IPA or a Belgian Strong. Overall a good beer to try, but not really to get it regularly. jclzony (25), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 2, 2007 Partly cloudy blonde with an enormous long-lasting white head. I would not consider this a hoppy beer when considering American hop monsters. This falls more along the lines of a very good blonde Tripel. There is a spicy honey aroma contributing to it’s sweetness and containing a strong alcohol presence. Hop character disappears as soon as the beer starts to warm up. This has a typical citrus hop and pale malt flavors of good blonde triples. Contains some clever spicy notes, keeping it from being just another generic Tripel. This one is way above average for a European style IPA. HermanW (634), Coevorden, Netherlands

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Bottle from Bier Circus, Brussels: Almost clear yellow with a large white foam & lacings. Yeast & hops all over the aroma. Bitter hops like - Boom. Could perhaps need a malty touch. However strong hoppy Belgium. Nice! aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 28, 2007 The color light golden. The head was thin, creamy, fizzy, and white. The aroma was very hoppy, alcohol, and some earthness. The flavor was extremely hoppy, with a waxy bitterness at the back of the mouth. There was also a grassy, alcohol flavor as well. The palate was lively and the finish, bitter/waxy. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Pours a fairly translucent pale gold with a medium white head. The aroma is a little sweet, definite hop presence, noticeable Belgian must, yeasty . The flavor is...hoppy, waxy bitterness, a little grapefruit peel, Belgian must, a bit sweet, alcohol is noticeable but not overbearing. There is some spice present. Not an overly impressive brew but still very solid.
