| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Great looking golden pour with an enormous white head. The nose is yeasty fruits and dry hops. The citrus and floral hops seem bright and lively on the tongue along with the prominent yeasty profile...all on top of the sweet lightly roasted caramel maltiness. This pairs well with fish or pasta. fonefan (11588), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Bottled in Brussels. Had this right after an ’04 Westy 12 . . . you can imagine what my palate was thinking. This beer didn’t stand a chance on this particular day. Still one of the better hopped up belgian tripels I’ve had the chance to try. Nicely carbonated, refreshing, crisp, and nice balance of malts and bitterness. Overall - average. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 11, 2007 the most impessive thing about this beer is the sharpness of the hops. malts are quite straight forward, the of it is spicy and floral. for the hop head. BREWMUSKCLES (1075), New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2007 a good representation of a flemish (belgian) ale. it is strong and has a moderately heavy alcohol in it’s character. everything else follows and that would be citrus in clove. it is bitter but the alcohol and clove moderates. it looks pale and has decent body with a foamy white head. touch of banana and it is yeasty. smells as it tastes. i find it clear and with a moderate finish at best. eeehhh
