330ml bottle. Freshly hoppy aroma, floral and herbal with notes of spice, cookie dough, faint citrus, pine and white grape, gaining a touch of sweetness as it warms. Deep golden color, mostly clear, with a lasting cap of thick foam and lace. Flavor includes a more prominent malt character to blend with the substantial hop presence, including a rich, honeyish sweetness amidst juicy orange citrus, leafy herbs, pine needles, a healthy dose of peppery, spicy bitterness and a burgeoning alcohol character towards the finish, which is very long, languorous and gently warming. Creamy, effervescent mouthfeel joined with a full body, lending a surprisingly drinkable effect. Nice.

bottle. large, white, frothy/creamy head with good lacing. cloudy orange body. banana, other fruit, bubble gum, light clove, honey, and some wine like characteristics are all present in the aroma. sweet flavor. not nearly as hoppy as name suggests. dry texture. alcohol is hidden very well.

Big hoppy aroma, but it is restrained by this crystal filtered, sugary sensation that makes it lean more towards underripe fruit and lemon scented rock candy. The body is a pale, but happy, yellow color and holds a fluffy, two finger thick, white head that is quite lasting. Fore is grassy, herbal and medicinal with some very faint citrus sweetness. The mouthfeel is quite nice, creamy and smooth, but the flavor tastes like what I imagine aspirin ground into a creamy leom meringue might taste like. I like parts of it, but not other parts.

Pours out of the 11.2oz bottle with plenty of carbonation creating a big rocky bright white head and clear golden fluid. In the nose I get sweet date and plum fruitiness as well as tart and slightly funky sour notes. There may also be some hints of floral hop aroma and alcohol hidden behind the tartness. Wow, the carbonation really punctuates the flavor. I get sweet malts, sweet sugar and a hint of beat sugar. Just after the taste starts an abrupt tartness attacks and cuts through the sweetness with tart lemons and some hop bitterness. Under that I taste some mild yeast funk that rides out into the finish with lingering tart and bitter notes. No sense of the 9.5% ABV in the taste.

big 750 mL bottle with a lot of rocky lacing and a sorta gross yeast clump in the bottom half of the bottle - very much like abbaye de rocs brews. a nice grassy and straw aroma and a corresponding pale malt backbone, and a characteristic belgian yeast aroma and flavor. all in all a very good beer, with a surprisingly bitter finish but probably not worth its $11.99 price tag.

750ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color, with a big fluffy white head that dissipated, but with decent lacing. First aroma was metallic, not good, but eventually morphed in to a nice combo of pear, apricot, Belgian yeast, and loads of hops. Initial flavor is sweet, with a nice nose of citrus, malt and more pear. Ends with the big bitter hops blast that lingers on the palate for a while. I detected a slight sour finish, that I could have done without. This is a good Belgian version of an IPA, definitely worth a try.

Bottle in the hotel room tasting. Its super hoppy, like its spicey beliun ale, but its got loads of citrus/grassy bittering hops in it, i loved the stuff and want more!!!!!!!

Pale golden pour, huge white head. Funky belgian yeast aroma with some banana, candy sugar, and light fruits. Flavor is really heavy on yeast and belgian malts, some banana and candy sugar, hops are there with citrus and floral but no more than any other belgian beer and it really leaves an astrigent irony taste. Not bad but not great.
