750ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with a large long lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of herbal and earthy hops, light notes of citrus. Taste is spicy and hoppy with a light malt sweetness with notes of citrus. Medium mouthfeel with tingly carbonation and a dry hoppy finish. Slight alcohol warmth but not hot. A different but wonderfull Belgian Strong Ale.

This was a bit of a disappointment for the price paid.. Pleasant belgian aroma of sweetness and spice.. the flavor is hampered by an unpleasant aftertaste.

Bottle... Mostly clear, yellow ale with a large, foamy, white head. Great retention. Spicy, fruity nose with tons of spicy, clove phenols and fuzzy fruit, pear and apple esters. Sweet, barely kilned malt flavor with medium, metallic bitterness. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter-sweet, then dry finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy golden with a bubbly, off-white head. aroma of yeast and amalt. Medium body with sweetish malt and fruit and some yeastiness - but hoppy? Well, the 80 IBUs are certainly very well hidden in a vaguely bitter finish. If this was an attempt at creating a hybrid between a Belgian and a "big" American, then the Belgian genes certainly won. 170407

Incredibly rocky head, clear yellow body, with the exception of chunky globs floating around at the top... quite disgusting, but I’m willing to overlook that fact. Light golden Belgian ale aroma. Slightly piney, but mostly spicey peppery hops. Not blown away by the hops, but more emphasis on the hops than the malt. The body is relatively smooth in terms without a ton of viscosity and low carbonation. The chunks were gross though. Lightly sweet, spicey hops, peppery, with a slight Belgian funk and some lemon. Relatively clean, but not too over the top. I’d drink it for the right price.

Bottle @ ’T Brugse Beertje. Fruity citrus zest and melon, spicy aroma. Good hoppiness backed up with solid but not overly sweet malts and pleasant peppery alcohol. Hops tail off slightly at the end which is a shame. Although the alcohol is noticeable this is quite drinkable for the strength.

11.2 oz Bottle - Orange Yellow color with a huge white marshmellow cloud head. Slightly Hoppy but more earthy aroma. An incredible beer. Subtle, yet powerful. A prefect mix of sour bitterness and malty sweetness. Head lasts the enire beer. Perfect effervescence.
