Served out of bottle, at a tasting. Pours gold-orange, with a medium sized white head. Aroma has much more sweetness than I had hoped, a bubble-gum fruitiness is discernable. Flavor starts with yeasty, estery notes, some peach and grass. A bit muddy, if I must say. The finish builds strongly to a bitter hoppy finish, but it lacks depth. I don’t know, this beer didn’t really impress me much. It is clearly made in the Belgian tradition, but the attempt to hop it up just didn’t come through with anything more than sweetish fruit, metal and a bitter finish.

Appearance: golden yellow, small head. Aroma: nice hoppy aroma with yeast, malt and spices. Flavour: alcohol, malt, lots and lots of bitter hops with a juicy hop finish. The alcohol is quite evident but enjoyable. On tap at Sin & Redemption.

Bottle: Golden, many little floaties visible, smaller, quite stable off-white head; moderate to solid hoppy-fruity nose with a subtle grainy touch; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; robust bitter-aromatic hops in the moderate lingering bitter-sweet finish. A goodie.........

Extremely long-lasting flavor that has the right amount of hops. The aroma is somewhat lacking though.

Burger Bar somewhere in the depths between the Luxor and Mandalay Bay.
Poured out a nice hazy, dull gold / orange (hard to tell with the lighting in this place) into the Urthel glass that came with it. Very nice thick white head with sticky, 360 degree lacing. The aroma was a total surprise and very enjoyable: sweet and smooth, sweet berries, almost a cross between strawberry & nectarine & melon, weakest amount of yeast. Tasty as well: seemed like a Belgian blonde with a stiff but somehow mellowed out spice, peaches, soft yeast. Seemed thick. Walked out with the glass of course. A hidden gem for beers in my opinion while traveling.

750ml bottle. Pours clear medium gold with a dense 2 finger beige head that lasts and results in great lacing. The nose is yeast, spice, malt and light floral hops. The taste is spice, malt, Belgian yeast, light fruit and a strange bitter finish that isn’t really a hops flavor, more like bile unfortunately. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Not a bad beer overall, but the strange bitterness in the end lowers my score. The hefty price tag doesn’t help either.

Tap at Hop Leaf. Poured a clear gold with a full white head. Beautiful aroma with sweet banana notes as well as apples and underlying hops. Started like a pilsner with some hops and finishes bitter.

Picking out some good hops, controlled dense pale-fruit sweetness, yeast and a bar hint of funk. Spice and present alcohol. Orange and hazy with very pale tan head. One-notish and slightly boring drinking it solo but might be magical with aromatic cheeses or even belgian mussels with frites.
