Bottle. It comes on a little strong, maybe thats just me. Thick on the pour, thick on the tounge and thick down the hatch. It smelled great, but the taste was just to much for me. I’m aware of the fact this is probably a reflection of my ’novice’ palate as much as it is anything else but hey its ratebeer, and its my opinion. Had some hops, yeast, caramel, molasas, sweet flavors.

Urthel Quadrium had a small wite head. Arome of aromatic hops, years, and citrus. Haed a nice finish. Overall, a good, if not great Belgian Ale.

Urthel Quadrium has a clear amber color with a frothy off white head. Malty sweet, earthy, musky aroma. Med body with a sticky mouthfeel. Lightly sweet flavor of caramel and peach nectar with an earthy belgian yeast essence. Has a nice alcohol tang to finish. Not cloying or overly sweet like many Quads. 81205

33 cL bottle. Pours dark golden to hazy orange with a dense white head. Overripe fruity, spiced and light yeasty with a clear presence of alcohol. Flavour is smooth, fruity yest deeply embedded in a caramelish and alcohol thick base. Yet the alcohol is burning as such, just providing a very smooth base and mouthfeel.

Dark golden with a nice head and a wonderful aroma with notes of fruit and caramel. The flavour is just right! It has nice sweetness, dark fruit, caramel, candy sugar and a touch of alcohol - really nice!

A dark amber colored beer, with a large creamy beige head. The smels of some exotic fruits. A little bitter tast and some sweet touches. Veru alcoholic, which gives a warm feeling in your mouth. A good beer from a brewery firm with a very nice story.

Truly atrocious. I couldn’t tell what flavors were present because I was overwhelmed by an ever-present cheap liquor taste.

750, corked and baled. Deep grainy ebony brown under a thick, surging, moussy tan head. Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. Settles to a nice creamy layer of foam with decent sheets of lace coming down. Nice brown-bread-y nose with a bit of fig in there. Body’s on the high side of medium, soft gently fizzy carb. Figs, dates, brown bread, and treacle on the mid-palate. Delicious. Little vodka bite at the end, falling into a gently herbal hop cling of a finish. Really nice stuff. If they hid the booze better and boosted the complexity of the nose and the mid-palate, this would be a world-beating beer.
