Bottle at Chris_O’s HogTownHarry minifest. Thanks to Chris. Light amber with a thick and bubbly head that settles quicky to a thick film that leaves good lacing. Sweet malt and yeast aroma. Heavily alcoholic flavour but still pretty good. Notes of pineapple and yeast. Very slight bitterness in the finish. So so. TomDecapolis (3195), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavors of dark fruits, toffee, nuts, citrus, creamy and smooth (this was an aged bottle), kind of spicy. harrisoni (6828), Ashford, Kent, England

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2007 Deep copper pour, huge bubbly off-white head. Yeasty/bread-like nose with some fruitiness under. Medium bodied palate with less carbonation than the huge head would suggest. Taste is a bit typical for a quad, is somewhat subdued, for a quad in my opinion – hard to taste much beyond the yeasty/fruity flavor. Goodgrief (1153), Middletown, Delaware, USA

Beer poured with huge head and nice lacing...a little light colored for a quad. HUGE aroma of honey/bananas. Taste was just the right amount of sweetness with definite honey lemony taste others have noticed. Nothng like the other quads I’ve had, but I liked it.
