| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Pours copper / orange with a fizzy off-white head. The aroma has toasted malt, dark fruits, earthy yeast, some alcohol warmth, toffee and cleaner - that last aspect takes down points from an otherwise fine aroma. Medium / full body with a minor amount of semi-sharp carbontion. The taste starts with nectar fruits, bubblegum like sweetness and alcohol warmth. The finish doesn’t add much more than head. This is not a bad beer, but it seems quite one dimensional for the style ~ so it goes, it wasn’t that expensive for a Belgium 750. AvantAle (50), Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Bottle... I think. Golden, golden, golden. Bright. Light head with an interresting pattern. Dotty. Has a very grassy smell. Alfalfa, malt, maple syrup, sugar cane, almond, and pine needles. The flavor isn’t as detailed with notes of pine and honey, but it is well balanced, and covers alcohol well. Finishes smoothe and creamy. Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil

Reddish coloration, with a very nice beige cream, dense and persistent. Floral, citric, with notes of caramel malt, vanilla and chocolate. Perceivable alcohol. Average/high carbonation. Full-bodied, but it is not so complex. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 9, 2007 (Bottkle 33 cl) Hazy, dark amber with a dense and creamy, off-white head. Rich aroma of sherry and wood. Very heavy body with accents of sweet, roasted malts and caramel and then again this woodiness, desert wine and noble rot. A surprisingly solid bitterness. Good stuff. 050207 Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 8, 2007 12oz Bottle. Aoma was yeasty biscuts, malt, and alcohol. Copper/amber body with off white head. Had a strong bitter alcohol start to the flavor. Malt blended in to take away some of the bitter and sour fruity flavor was appearent. Alcohol presence though out this beer, little harsh on palate and leaves you with a sour lemon aftertaste.
