Alcoholic but sweet flavour. Longlasting after-taste. Beware of the high ABV. Svesse (2653), Hässelby, Sweden

Fruity nose with raisins, dried figs, notes of raspberries and blackberries. Slightly wineous with notes of molasses. Fruity, slightly roasted, taste with notes of brown sugar, caramel, raisins, figs and prunes. Sweet but well balanced, with a spicy finish. Full bodied, with creamy texture. Tasty and very warming. 1FastSTi (2560), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 22, 2006 11.2 oz bottle via John’s Grocery. The beer pours to an extremely carbonated golden/orange body with a very tall light and airy off-white head that leaves peaks like meringue. Nice lacing. The aroma is strong with sweet fruits, lots of light yeasts, white sugar, some sort of dessert, bananas. The flavor is creamy, spicy, sweet, lemons, sugar. Much better as a sum of the parts. Quite good. The palate is rich and creamy, but also slick and goes down easily. A lingering yeast flavor exists. The high alcohol content is well hidden. A very unique brew. hiphops (280), caldwell, New Jersey, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 25, 2006 Darkened clear orange, fizzy light tan head. Nose had very nice tones of sugar coated plums, golden raisin, pear, brown sugar, cotton candy, and booze. Dark fruit flavor throughout with good doses of candi sugar thrown about for good measure. It does come around with a nice helping of bittering hops and alcohol heat late. Medium to full bodied, fizzy carbonation, lightly sweet, bitter finish. Not the most complex I have ever had, but a very tasty treat none the less... hopscotch (5490), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Fruity aroma; mandarin orange and pear. The flavor is sweet with brown sugar, toffee and honey. Hot and bitter with alcohol; bitter with hops. Just short of full-bodied. Sticky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet, then boozy and bitter. Maybe a touch grassy. Dopplebock1538 (71), Sanatoga, Pennsylvania, USA
