Deep golden/amber color, active carbonation. Quite frothy. A very nice, soft feel, plenty of alcohol in the flavor and malty. Has a definite Belgian flavor to it, sweet and sticky. Very drinkable and well made.

Judging by the other comments, I must have a bad batch. All four bottles. Upon opening the bottle...ugh.... D M S. Cooked cabbage. The beer itself tastes good. I will try again and re-rate if the veggie odor is gone.

Aroma is strong with a sour mash of a wide variety of fruits. name a soft fruit and this smells a little like it and thext seven soft fruits you can name. Definitely leans toward the exotic ones though. Mango, papaya, guava, but there are overripe bannana pear notes as well. Color is hazy orange. Head is fast diminish and bubbly white. Fruity/yeasty fore that is quite soft and tasty. Finish is all hot throat burning alcohol, but it’s works with the flavores here playing the thorns to the fruity flavor’s rose. Gets a bit spicy just before the finish, but the spice notes are second fiddle to the exotic fruit mash of flavors here.

[I sampled mine just before the best before date - I bought almost 2 years prior] A hazy dark amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is strong with strong notes of fruit - very sweet fruit almost like candied and somewhat overripe fruit - I’m in the direction of mango and oranges, but the aroma also contains some woody notes. The flavor is sweet and the mouthfeel very smooth - the carbonation creates the great head, but doesn’t make it lively to drink, so it just glides down, until it leaves You with a slight alcohol burn on the back of the tongue and some fruity flavors on the palate. But before then the flavor contains strong fruit notes - again very sweet fruits - like just before turning over ripe - I detect peaches, mango, and oranges.

Noticeably full yet fizzy mouthfeel with citrus/spice machinations and a hint of banana, perhaps mustyhay (lingering slight sourness) and corriander, a multitude of other random acidic fruits (berries....kiwis?) but I can taste the alcohol. Pity.

"Rather different for this style, light color. Was creamy but still thin. Critus smell banana. There was a good amount of carbonation. Sweet flavor."

A thick and frothy off-white head descends slowly to murky orange-amber hued beer while constantly being buffered by rising carbonation. Still, the fade is relatively quick. Apricots and spry pale malts leap forth quickly followed quickly by bakery fresh bread and cookies. Floral hops with some citric qualities provide balance, albeit in favor of the malt. A doughy yeast presence nearly merges with the aforementioned breadish malt profile. Esters of light, tropical fruits play with reckless abandonment; bananas and pineapples with hints of kumquats and kiwis. There is also a subtle sour quality present, much like grapefruit but without the overall pungency. Detectible alcohol as well. Very sweet initially, along with a moderate dose of that sourness. The finish is still sweet, yet crisp, owing to an effervescent carbonation, slight tart acidity and moderate hop bitterness. A rich bodied mouthfeel, creamy until broken up by the carbonation, with an unfortunate tinge of alcohol. 750mL bottle, snifter, no discernable bottle dating.
