orange colored pour with a small head. smells yeasty, sweet, and fruity. taste is sweet and very similar to the smell. heavy on the carbonation, but really great tasting. smooth and really easy to drink for being 11.5% damn this is a fine beer, and one that i will buy again whenever i see it. would be incredible with some aging i believe.

Light copper pour with a slowly fading off-white head. Potent fruity aromas, highly yeasty and candyish, a cake of esters going from yellow apples to pineapple, from honeyed grapes to lime. The highly effervescent body bites at first, but calms the sweetness down a bit. Warming palate, spicy through a doughy yeast dominance. Medium bodied, strong and not particularly polished.

750 ml ’03. Pours copper with a nice, lasting off white head. Just a great looking beer. Aroma is cereal, yeasty, malty, tea and pepper. Taste is candi sugar and tripel like, with smooth bittering hops and caramel. Warming and creamy smooth, sweet without being over the top. I’d swear this was a tripel.

75cl bottle. Pours clear golden orange and honey colored. Smells of sweet honey, sugary light wheat and barley, and some light piney alcohol as well. Very carbonated, fizzy and frothy texture. Sweet overall, a light tinge of alcohol noticed, which is remarkeable for 11.5% abv. Some clover honey flavors, along with brown sugar and maple. Very nice, very pleasent and fresh tasting.

Pours light brown almost like a tripel with a smallish off white head. Aromas of raisins, grapes and nutes are most pronounced with some pete moss like qualities also noticable. Tastes of figs, dates, prunes, plums and grapes with a sweet brown sugar like finish.

Golden brown with a tall fizzy head, this abt has a strange aroma, a stale malt with bananas, a drop of lemon, and alcohol. It’s hot and peppery in the mouth, delivering a sharp malt flavor with a light fruitiness and a good dose of alcohol. The finish has an earthy bitterness tops with peppery alcohol. Okay, but strange for a quadrupel.
