Pours deep opaque red-brown with a fine, creamy and rather fizzy off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with plums and quite a lot of spices. Fine, rather light mouthfeel. Flavour is nice, quite roasted, good sweet chocolate, fine hoppiness. Nice, dry finish. A very good bock, but not a touch on the La Trappe. Bullit (1382), Glasgow, Scotland

Poured a deep brown with a bocky sweet aroma. flavor was not overly sweet (like so many dutch bocks, but there was a pleasant roastiness, with some slight fruit hints. body was perfect smooth with just a bit or carbonation. The best dutch bock hands down, but sadly I’ve only seen it in Utrecht.
