The complex malty sweet taste makes it a beer that is actually in between a bock and a dubbel. 2003 is inferior to the 2002. And it was actually the only bock worth coming to Amsterdam. The others were average or underaverage. The aroma is rather spicy. Dark brown color, beige creamy head, very good lace. Sweet, full, roasted, chocolat and coffee, very soft. 11-28-98, 3.0: just an average bock.
