Oct 20, 2002 Beautifull head, cloudy brown colour. Sweet smell, Malty, well balanced taste, bit spicy perhaps. complex. Nice smooth palate. Best bock this year for me.

Oct 19, 2002 Updated: Nov 2, 2003One of the best dutch autumn bocks i know. Dark with nice head. The complex malty sweet taste makes it a beer that is actually in between a bock and a dubbel. 2003 is inferior to the 2002.

Oct 5, 2001 Updated: Oct 26, 2003Re-rate, 10-26-03: I re-rated this at the Amsterdam Bockbierfestival. And it was actually the only bock worth coming to Amsterdam. The others were average or underaverage. The aroma is rather spicy. Dark brown color, beige creamy head, very good lace. Sweet, full, roasted, chocolat and coffee, very soft. 11-28-98, 3.0: just an average bock.
