Dec 6, 2009 50cl bottle. Pours a dark, almost black color, with a thin white head. Roasted malt aroma, flavor of chocolate, malt and liquorice. Nice sweet touch to it, a nice schwarzbier.

Fruit and some roast aroma. Dark coloured smooth and a little rich on the palate with a crisp and slightly dry roast malt finish.

Oct 12, 2009 Bottle at Chriso’s post GBBF one night. Lovely looking brown amber, lasting beige head. Quite dry, spritzy, bit yeasty and toasty. Some choc. OK schwarz.

Sep 20, 2009 500ml bottle, bb.28.12.09, at Haltinmaa where it was served at a perfect, chilled temperature. Deep, dark brown with a small, off-white head. Roasted, almost burnt, malty aroma. Initial taste of dark chocolate soon followed by tolerable sweet, brown sugar and liquorice. Bitter tingle on the swallow. Medium bodied. Very well made and a pleasant surprise (Kilpis, Finland 15.08.2009).

Aug 18, 2009 Flaske 0,5l. Svart som natta. Høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Litt karamell i aromaen. Avrundet smak: Litt karamell, sjokolade og lakris. Svakt bitter ettersmak. Godt!

May 29, 2009 Draught (Villi Wäinö, Helsinki) - Very dark brown, with some red tinges. Roasted and slightly smoky aroma, with hints of coffee. Roasted taste with hints of coffee, chocolate and some light hoppy elements.
