Deep blond color; finer bubbles than the Brut. Sweetish apple and apple juice aroma. Good mouthfeel, medium sweetness; similar to the Brut, we find here a delicate tannic astringency and red apple peels, that the sweetness complement into a very pleasant flavor. The final is well balanced with these elements. Very pleasant.

Nov 9, 2004 A French wine store was selling this in Vientiane. It has a fiery copper colour; a very earthy, metallic, rich apple aroma; an earthy flavour that is slightly nutty and quite rich. The carbonation is moderate and the finish deliciously earthy. So good for so little alcohol.
