Smells of fresh cracked grains, gold amber color, spongy head. Sweet, sugary malt with hints of honey. Corriander and nutmeg spices too. Medium body. Like a honey-lemon tea.

A knock-out gorgeous white head with bubbles and lace, like a frothy vanilla milkshake. Creamy. The winner by drinkability in a 4-way playoff of x-mas beers on March 25. On sweet side, but just couldn’t get enough of it. Malt magic fresh from Belgium.

Bottle is marked Sept 2003. Mostly clear dark amber body topped bu a frothy off-white head. The aroma exhibits some light oxidation in the form of wet cardboard. Behind that there is a fruity aroma, pears, bananas, generally sweet. The flavor is less harmed by oxidation than the aroma, sweet and fruity, toffee, and caramel. Pretty plain-jane. Medium body with light alcohol warmth. Decent but would be better fresher.

Hazy brown colour with small off white head. Sweet spicy aroma. The flavour is dominated by yeast and cloves with notes of other spices. Well balanced bitterness. Typical belgian abbey ale.

Bottle from Styles. Hazy orange colored beer. Big, lively white head. Great lacing. Aroma is somewhat sourish, like a Fantome beer. Tart flavors, some spice in taste. Somewhat thin in body.

This brew pours with a very cloudy yellow body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. The aroma and flavor are sweet and slightly fruity with nice flowery notes and a touch of yeast. Light bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

Awesome aroma of hevay caramel. its like the first blast of a sweet caramel candy after its unwrapped. amazing. the taste was at first hevay caramel and wine. it soon backed off and left a very light sweet flavor and not much else. incredibly smoothe and drinkable, but lacking enough depth to surpass the incredible smell.
