Bottle at home, picked this up from Dranken Geers, near Gent, Belgium 03-03-08, drank 09-03-08 Pours mid amber colour with a white head, head sticks to glass on way down. Some yeast and spices on nose, nothing here reminds me much of Christmas I’m afraid, its very ordinary.

Bottle, 33 cl. (Bought @ Geers) Amber color, and large creamy off-white head. Aroma fruits (pears ?), malts. Medium body. Taste is great. Start sweet, well-balanced, malts, bit alcohol touch. Bit spice, and dry end. Good !

From 33cl bottle. Hazy amber body with a puffy white head that leaves a good lacing. Good nose of sweet spices with clove, cinnamon, orange peel and a twist of roasted malts. First approach in mouth is sweet but without mellowness. Lovely flavors coming in the middle palate of dried fruits and spices, reminds me of a christmas cake, followed by a slightly bitter finish. Smooth body with a low carbonation delivers all its flavors even a bit cold. Very good Christmas beer, but not a great one.

Bottle. Big white foamy head, good lasting; dark gold body. Sweet smell of hops, spices, liqueur. Very sweet start, later on a little bit more bitter, very nice, medium duration. Lively carbonation, medium body, dry, oily and creamy texture, long finish. Very good one!

Bottle Hazy, amber body. Off-white, frothy head. Quite complex aroma of hops, spicy, butterscotch (? - at least not in a bad way). Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Quite complex, interesting flavour. Not overwhelming, but well balanced.
