Poured from bottle. Butterscotch aroma. Solid gold, white persistent head. I taste wheat, bread, spice and a nice smoky flavor. A bit of a candy - like feel, but not sticky. Finish is consistent with start. Quite nice.

Lively straw yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma of sticky toasted malt, apricot, apple, coriander and spicy bread crust. Taste of coriander, apple, fruit, grain, grassy hops and yeast. Lively palate in this Joe average brew.

Hazy, straw golden color with soapy head. Moderate sweet vanilla, cloves, coriander, sweet butter in the aroma. Moderate acidic yeast with ripe fruity character and citrus overtones. Easy bodied, refreshing blond ale.

Pours a very light gold, with small to medium head. Nice aroma of yeast and citrus. Complex flavors without the sour aftertaste of many an abbey ale. Hoppy, malty, musty/earthy spiciness. A very pleasant and drinkable Belgian ale.

11.2 oz bottle 5/3/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a hazy cloudy yellow with a nice big white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, and spices. Taste of spices, malt, yeast, and a little hops. This light to medium bodied brew is quite drinkable with nothing to write home about.

Bottle. Hazy yellow body with a fluffy big white head. Yeasty aroma with some fruit and malt. More yeast in aroma with a hoppy touch and some citric fruity notes. Light to medium bodied. Bit dull and average blonde ale.
