Citric nose, a dash of sour, with a side of flowers, yeasty, lemony, light.
Brisk and fruity in the mouth, but low-key in the mouthfeel. Great grab in the palate up front, then mellowing. Very easy and breezy, just like a good blond oughta be..."blond ale", I mean, of course.
Just a bit spicy and honeyish in the taste, getting more complex further into the bottle. Very zesty, refreshing, a great dinner chaser.

Slightly sweet on first sip then finishing
dry with a hop bitterness. Unlike most
Belgians, this one I could drink a few
of given the moderate alcohol content. UNCCTF (465), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

An awesome-looking beer in a Val Dieu Belgian glass - hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma wasn’t too impressive, but the flavor was spicy; a taste that intensified as the beer warmed. The finish was sweet as most Belgians are. Quite good. diabel (1372), Aarschot, Belgium
