Cloudy golden pear-colored with a medium-sized, lasting foam. Aroma is mild clove, grapes, and apples with some spicy dry grass. Flavors of spicy yeast, clove, some mild apple and pear; slight bubblegum, wheat crackers, alcohol, and cardboard. Light body is soft, with a sufficiently dry finish, is mostly smooth but maybe a tad bit too frothy with carbonation. Mild, balanced flavors make this one highly quaffable BonVoeux (40), Beveren-Leie, Belgium

Hazy and sedimented with an amber honey hue. Finger width of thick white head. Bready doughy yeasty aromas with notes of bananas and slightly floral. Medium bodied and dense. Sticky and cloying yet light palate. Chalky yeasty flavor. Fruity esters. Green apples and tart berries. Orange citrus and floral. Slight hops with a sweet finish. Mild spice. Decent, but not overly so. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Pour was a dirty yellow color with little head or lacing. The aroma and flavor were both of overripe fruit. Really sweet and a flat mouthfeel. I can’t say I enjoyed this one much. kiefdog (1635), Tampa, Florida, USA

Flavor: slightly sweet and sour initially with a hint of bitter on the finish. Very faint honey and caramel overtones. dmac (1500), Toms River, New Jersey, USA

Pours a clear orange gold with lots of floaties from the bottome of the bottle, lots of effervescence and a large pillowy bright white head. Aroma of green apples, yeast, brown bread and tropical fruit. Medium bodied with strong carbonation. flavor is yeasty with notes of grains and fruit, not quite as good as the aroma lets on though. As far as blondes go this one smells nice but doesn’t back it up, very true to life as far as I have found. stp4343 (1), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 23, 2008 nice head. with hazy golden color.. smell was neutral.. taste very nice.. complex earthy
