400 Gekocht op vakantie in de Ardennen. Ik had meer verwacht omdat de tripel erg goed was. Maar deze blonde Belg kan er mee door.

11.2 ounce bottle in Duvel glass. Hazy pale yellow with lasting white head and nice lace. Nice aroma with citrus, spice , and yeast. Very dry with faint malt sweetness and crisp bitterness. Medium light body and medium carbonation. Enjoyable though not spectacular. Would not mind having again

330 ml bottle. Misty yellow color. Big coarse greyish head. Limited aroma of sweet citrus and unripe banana. Light wheaty, light fruity and very mildly hopped flavors. Light- bodied for the style. Crisp, with a little watered down mouthfeel . Short acidic finish. An absolutely drinkable beer, but lacks character.

Bready, overtly yeasty flavor. I enjoyed the other Val Dieu’s I’ve sampled, but not this one. Flavor was ’off’ to me. Weak aroma, nothing special.

Pours golden / blond with a large frothy white head. The aroma is very bready and malty with rich toffee and a good amount of yeast. Medium body with fairly crispy with a good amount of sharp carbonation. The taste starts with pils-like malt, rich breadiness and clean earthy yeast. the finish has some hops and pepper. A good beer, but nothing to go out of your way for.
