Pours a dark brown color with a tan color head. Aroma of roasted malts and dry fruits. Flavors of deep roasted malts and some caramels, spices, and liquorice and dry plum fruits. Good carbonation and a sweet bitter and dry finish. Lots a great flavors and complexity. A wonderfull beer.

Bottle - 330ml. Dark brown body with average off-white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with plummy, grape, and dark cherries hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Taste carries grainy and yeasty notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Good Dubbel.

Julio’s Belgian Beer Festival. Sample. Another one I do not remember to clearly due to the vast amount of sampling. I made note of it on my sheet so it must have been pretty good.

Bottle 33 cl. Gushes out of its bottle pouring a raddish brown with a big but fading white head and an aroma of molasses, brown sugar, ripe dark fruits, sweet malts, raw fish and sweet chocolates. The taste is pretty plain sweet, very malty and with notes of caramel, plums, sweet grapes and some sweet herbs. Not really a finish, just a sweet flavour staying in your mouth for minutes.

Good brown beer. I saw the brewery and have to say that it looked very good. The beer as a nice color, not to dark, just lovely brown. The taste was not clear but still good. The alcoholpercentage was not to high so I like it for once a week.

330ml Bottle: Aroma of dark ripe fruit, slight cocoa, fruit, and malts. Poured brown in color with a medium-sized, dense, tan head, that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of large particles throughout. Good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of malts, chocolate, wood, light dark ripe fruits, and cocoa. Medium body. Tingly, then very chalky texture. Average to lively carbonation. Chalky, cocoa and malt finish.
