Browny amber body with a full size and lasting light tan head. Smooth taste that is a tad sweet and with fairly good characters of dark fruits, spice, liquorice and some burnt notes of caramel. Aroma was of chocolate and rich fruit.

Brown chunky pour. Yeasty and sweet yet smooth. Interesting and rather good. Brown in color, not offensive at all. Damn fine dubbel. Id buy this again, sure.

Pours dark brown with a huge rocky head. Aroma is very sweet smelling. Flavor is a bit yeasty, with tons of that sugar in the raw flavor, very very sweet and sugary.

Bottle. Dark brown, opaque pour. Suitably frothy head. Spicey and fruity smell. Taste is caramel sweet, with some spice. The sweetness, alcohol and very low carbonation make for a heavy but pleasing mouthfeel. Very nice brown.

Date and fig aroma with a sweet caramel flavor and a musty finish. Very mild hops with warming, integrated alcohol. A very pleasant and mild beer with no distracting overtones but also no distiguishing features. Maybe a good keystone for the dubbel style?

Bottle. Poured a nice cloudy rust color with a big rocky head. Sharp aroma with a yeasty tone. Surprisingly sweet and bready with a fruity base and a spicy finish.

Bottle. Clear dark reddish brown with a massive light grey foam. Aroma of yeast, toasted malts, banana and breadrusts. Flavour is yeasty and slightly roasty, notes of banana-peels, oranges and sweet kicorice. Warming and quite thick mouthfeel. Licorice, banana and yeast in the spicy aftertaste. Quite nice dubbel but not among the best ones.
