Lemon honey caramel hue. I guess that I’m just associating the impending flavors. Spotty white head. Doughy caramel aromas. Dried bananas and cooked sugar. Touch grainy. Rather full bodied but deceptively smooth. Well melded alcohol. Sweet initially then immediately into bitter and tart, finishing zesty and fruity. Good roll to the palate. Crisp and medium bright. Slightly dulled, but just to enhance the caramel honey note. Lingering bitter acidity. Cloying malt stickiness. One of their better offerings. Nice. BeerBelcher (943), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 24, 2008 I thought this beer to be a nice example of a Belgian Triple, and thought it to be good, but not pee-your-pants exciting. It offers a nice and very pleasant degree of fruit and spice flavors that are extremely drinkable but not extremely potent.
It poured (from an 11.2 oz bottle) a hazy orange with an abundant bright white head. Aroma was fruity and spicy, with citrus (lemon or orange) dominating the bouquet. Flavor was also fruity, but more complexed and balanced with a nice degree of maltiness and with some additional tarter fruitiness (plum/prune or raisin) to balance out the sweeter citrus notes I detected in the aroma. The 9% ABV was unknown to me until I read this site - expected for a tripel but in no way evident from taste and smell. Mouthfeel was pleasant, and I found this beer extremely drinkable.
I would definitely recommend this beer.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 22, 2008 11.2 oz bottle from a gift set purchased at Shangys. Pours a hazy orange with a bright white average size foamy head. Initial aroma is green apple, yeast, bread, golden raisins and white wine. Palate is thin/medium bodied with lots of carbonation that fills your mouth completely. Flavor is slight alcohol, bread, green apples with a soury/sweet finish. I’m glad this came with a free glass because otherwise I would probably never remember this beer. Zaprozdower (42), Boone, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 18, 2008 Pours a huge thick head, was a bit too much for me. Taste was balanced, but a little boring, not much complexity. Also excepted a little more from the aroma. Not great for a Belgian ale, but good overall. grandet (486), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Bottle. Nice golden cloudy pour with a nice white head. Balanced flavor, but not very strong. Quite light. Not bad though. TaxiDriver (942), Stadland, Germany
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 15, 2008 Bottle. Heavy yeasty, sweet and sour at the same time, the smell of fresh bread. Average white frothy head, long lasting. A cloudy orange body. The flavor is light bitter with only a short duration. The beer is surprisingly light and soft for a Belgian triple. On the palate the body is rather light and dry with a soft carbonation.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 4, 2008 Dark yellow colored with clousy appearance and lively carbonation. Little white head. Lemon dominates this still sweet aroma with some added sugary note, some witbier spiciness also come up. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is more traditional triple with nice spices and yeast, flavor has also some weiss beer tones with banana and similar spiciness. Aftertaste turns to yeasty with mild alcohol and yeast. Fine flavor with weak aroma.
