Good color nothing spectacular head-wise. Had a very carbonated mouth feel that actually caught me off guard. Very good but I’ll take a Chimay. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Slight malt and candy sugar aroma and tastes that includes more bitter citrus and a touch of powder surgar than a Westmalle or St. Bernardus. Smooth, rich, flavorful. goozen (1088), Leiden, Netherlands

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 16, 2008 Pours an apple-cider gold with a lovely head and nice lacing. Aroma is dusty & sweet, with a strong alcohol presence. Taste is surprisingly - quite wheaty, definite lemon notes here, green olive & pimento, great lingering aftertaste of alcohol, grape leaves & hops. Body is appropriate and carb is good. This is definitely a tripel of the sipping variety. Unusually savoury taste. malrubius (1002), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Hazy pale orange with lasting flat white head and lotsa lace. Lemony yeasty bready aroma with a hint of soap. Honey lemon sweet fruitiness with medium lingering tobacco bitterness. Medium body and carbo. Pretty standard triple but not bad.
