On tap at Humpy’s, Anchorage AK (2003). Poured golden with a nice fluffy white head. Nose is banana, clove, pepper, yeast, alcohol...fruity and spicy. Taste was an extension of the aromas with bananas, pepper, cloves, and alcohol dominating to the finish. My wife liked this a lot more than I did.

750 ml caged and corked bottle. Pours hazy bright golden yellow with lots of floating yeast chunks, nice cream colored lasting head that leaves good lacing. Fruity and spicy aromas. Fruity vanilla, tropical fruit and pepper flavors, very dry and crisp finish. Full bodied with a full and crisp mouthfeel, alcohol well hidden and very drinkable.

Bottle Conditioned at The Criterion, Leicester, (RB Crawl). Gold to straw colour, struggling head. Sweet vanilla like beer with a spicy aroma. Some clove and orange in the body but a little cloying and mixed up. Light body but mostly unimaginative.

Yeasty, ’Nilla Wafer nose; Cloudy honey-yellow color, big fluffy white head. Orangy taste with some vanilla tones. Dryish end. Thin for a tripel with a quick profile, but OK.

Clear golden colour with a large foamy white head, good lacing. Yeasty, bready aroma with some light fruit in the background. Taste is sweet; sugar, peaches, oranges, spices and vanilla. Very nice; medium bodied, lightly carbonated, very smooth, nice mouthfeel, well hid alcohol. Enjoyable stuff.

Hazy yellow with a big bubbly white head. Yeasty aroma, candy sugar with some spice and alcohol. Not a whole lot of flavor, spicy fruitiness, but very sweet almost artificial. A little let down to say the least.

Draught. Soft nose. Notes of apple juice, citrus, acidity, and orange. Soft mouthfeel. Slightly sour/bitter finsh. Not the best, but still enjoyable. Slightly cloying.
