bluevegie (1771), Perth, Australia Jul 18, 2008 Bottled tried at Sicosis. Flat sort of caramel in the taste, drinkable at least after the last two beers I tried. Pours a dull tawny colour with no head. TheGrandMaster (1492), Auckland, New Zealand Nov 8, 2007 Bottle, red copper with a filmy head. A fruity aroma with caramal malt. A malty palate, but then a sweet fruity tang. A light mouthfeel, just too sweet in the finish. davidpl (403), Santiago, Chile Jul 31, 2007 Appearance: amber color. Medium head, ivory color, with low retention.
Aroma: medium toasty malty, candy, honey; fruitiness of apples, pears and peaches. Too much acid.
Flavor: malty toasty, presence of cereals and candy. Very citric, hoppy problems?, infection problems?. Low dry-final. Fruity-reminiscences of green apples, pears, lemon and tangerines.
Palate: medium body, watery texture. Low carbonation.
Beer with decadent quality. KingGambrinus (94), Santiago, Chile Jul 30, 2007 (Bottle, supermarket) Amber/red color, very fruity aroma with tones of caramel and ginger. Flavor is light bitter and even a bit of sweet, a little citric, I must say. Soft carbonation, felt very nice. Bitter finish. Very recomended, one of the best Chilean beers. almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile Mar 10, 2007 Updated: Mar 14, 2007(in bottle, buy for internet).
Aroma to fruits and masses, very agreeable. Coppery color, paint of blacks, ambers and gilded, a head with good foam, but very rapid. The flavor is the just, candy and brown malt. Slightly thin texture, but with good carbonation. With an appropriate bitterness, ultimately. I might say that is a beer well made, it is among the best Chilean
