Bottle. Golden brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is roasted and hopped, and the flavour is roasted, dry and very well hopped with a slightly yeasty finish. Overall a nice very well hopped and bitter beer.

[500ml bottle, gift from my wife - cheers!] Considering this is a relatively local brewery, I’m surprised that this is the first I’ve had from them. Deep amber, negligible beige head, moderate carbonation. Tastes dry and woody - almost of sawdust at first. Slight metallic hints before some autumn fruit come through. But the mouthfeel is weak, watery and fizzy - felt like a mass-market pasteurised bitter rather than a micro brewery bottle conditioned old ale. Disappointing, but I suspect that it’s better casked.

Bottle. Pours a amber orange colour with a very thin white head. Has a real citrus aroma, the taste is malty with a dry citrus finish.

500ml bottle under the M & S label - Buckinghamshire Ale. Poured a mid- brown with a small white head which last well down the glass. More malty than hoppy but well balanced overall. Well carbonated & quite sweet in the swallow. An OK beer but have tasted much better.

500ml bottle with the Buckinghamshire label, into a half pint glass. Bourbon-colored, thin head. Iffy aromas of sulfur, toast, bananas, feet. Sweet-tart and breadcrust taste; mild brambly bitterness. Watery. Fruity/chalky aftertaste. Overall sourish and cheesy.

bottle as M&S Buckinghamshire Ale, bought at M&S Honiton. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Fruity nose and fruity flavours dominate the beer. Solid malty base with a nice fruity sourness and citrusy hints.

Bottle. Tried as Marks ans Spencers Buckinghamshire ale. Bronze with some maltiness.Left some sediment and lacing behind. Quite well balanced and well bottled but nothing out of the ordinary.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Brampton Halt nr Northampton A chestnut coloured beer with a tan head. The malty aroma has coffee and burnt toast. The taste is fruity and malty with raisin and bread notes. Nice
