Fruit and malt aromas. Copper amber coloured with some alcohol present. Sour fruit flavour. Crisp and slightly bitter full malt finish.

Apr 21, 2007 Bottle. Deep amber colour, medium-sized head. Chocolate and fruit aroma. Chocolate dominates the taste as well, though fruit and a drier finish makes this quite a wel-balanced beer. A bit too light body. Quite nice.

Dec 29, 2006 Bottle. Amber brown with a small head. Aromas are malty with chocolate and cookie dough. Fruity wih some spiciness and yeast. Flavours are sweet malts with berries and some lemon fruitiness. Dry and bitter on the finish. A solid bitter.

Dec 23, 2006 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A dark amber coloured beer. The aroma and taste are fruity and malty with maybe a hint of candied peel. Quite Christmassy and has a cakey feel to it. Interesting tasty and different.
