Cask in the 3 judges. Aroma is malty, floural small citrus hints. Taste is similar with grassy hops dominating, tasty enough and sessionable.

Cask, Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Medium copper, white head. Marmalade, honey, leather aroma. Animal mineral malt, candy hops. Not what I would call a clean tasting beer, but there’s a good amount of interesting flavor. I dig.

A Sim rate (cask at Nottingham BF): Nice copper / amber colour. Tastes bitter and so very ordinary. Bitter finish. Watery palate.

Cask at the Jolly Anglers, Reading. A warm sunny day, so a chance to sit outside on the bank of the River Kennet and fully appreciate the incredible colour of this beer - brilliant copper, with fiery red and orange tints as it catches the sun, topped by a thin white head - an exceptional sight. Pleasant aroma of oranges; fruity and dry to start, then a juicy fruity burst; leading to a dry and bitter caramel finish. Excellent, but I would have preferred a stronger finish.
