Commercial Description:
This beer, brewed originally in the 1840s, is referred to as "straw gold." Our Pilsner is a Bohemian Pilsner which, unlike its American counterpart, is a medium gold in color, sharply hopped, medium-bodied, and marvelously refreshing. Pilsner is the nearest thing to a universally popular beer. Bronze Medallist at the Great American Beer Festival 1999.

Standard but fine yellow, keeps a bit of head. Like any American standard but bigger flavors. Finishes bitter.

I was totally unimpressed with this beer. But I firmly dislike pilsners to begin with. Clear gold, good noise, decent palate, just not my beer.

Clear light gold. White foam. Toasted white bread maltiness. Spicy Saaz hoppiness, though light. Medium body. Dry. Nicely balanced. Crisp and clean bitterness. Balanced finish.

Hoppy and sweet aroma. Light straw color with small head. Ligtly carbed, watery palate. Hoppy and sweet with crisp finish. Very nice pils.

A crisp refeshing pilsner. golden clour with a large head. pleasantly hopped to impart a fresh and slightly flowery taste. comparable to the better czech pilsners.
