Bottled. Aroma is faint. Just a hint of veggies and some spices. Hazy, dark brown color, beige head, fair lace. Light sweet, some spices, bit roasted, hint of coffee and plastic? Very thin, like a watered down Abbey Dubbel.

Dark amber ale with a nice Old English Ale aroma, nutty and caramelly. But in mouth, nothing!. Mineral water with some food colouring, and maybe, if you are carefull, some hops. May 1,2005 at 2nd KBC Festival, Den Bosch, NL.

Draught Fully hazy red-brown; disparate but staying yellowish head. Bit of wood, bit of caramel, bit of cardboard, and some lactic make out the nose. Lime & pumpkin, but watered down to the limit. Some yeasty-bready notes. Light body, just some grist slickness, but VERY watery. Not bad at all, the MF/palate excepted. I could dig this, however, even when my co-taster Hunsell disagreed.

Cloudy nutbrowncoloured beer. Tan head. Looks nice but smells like nothing. Some nut, that’s it. Flavor? Hardly noticable. Something nutty again, slightly sweet but it ends there. Way too thin, completely uninteresting brew.

Orange brown color, malty and a bit soapy aroma. Flowery, hoppy, even a bit smoky flavor. Caramel and hints of licorice. The flavor is good, especially after the restrained aroma. Maybe a bit thin. Good quality beer from this new Dutch brewer.
