sampler @ brewery - light gold with faint aromas of cherry and dank fruit; but not very strong change from the regular wheat; i didn’t care much for that and likewise for this one

Hazy yellow. Aroma of Crunchberry Cereal. A little berry essence and a little wheat in the flavor. Finishes with a little zesty citrus.

At the brewery, pours hazy dark straw with a sweet berry nose. The flavor is simple and sweet, but a synthetic syrup sweetness.

Soapy and sweet nose with soft berry notes. Very light on the palate again with mild soap.

Smells exactly like the tutti-frutti flavored fluoride treatment from the dentist’s office. That’s it. This might be ok in moderation, but this is overwhelming. Flavor improves somewhat, combining a light tartness with subdued bready notes, florality and a wan bitterness. Still not my cup of tea, or berries, but better than some others I’ve had of this ilk.
