Draught at the brewpub. Hazy gold with a lacy head. The aroma is pure mixed-berry candy. The flavor is also intense berry with some light malt and is pretty dry, somewhat surprisingly. Light bodied. Nice aroma, and somewhat interesting in that it is full of berries without being too sweet.

10 ounce sample consumed at the brewpub this past weekend. Aroma is full of very aromatic strawberries, cherries, and some raspberries. Pleasant aroma, although there are no "beer" aromas present, which is unfortunate. Mildly hazy copper color with a small, whitish head. Wow, quite tart and astringent to start with some strawberry and melon-like flavors present. A little bit of doughy maltiness comes through in the middle and finish. This is relatively simple, and a bit unique for a fruit beer.

Draft @ Valley Brew. Pours a bright, medium-golden color; off-white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Smells like blueberry pie: sugars, blueberry skins, and crust; surprisingly pleasant. Average carbonation. Medium mouthfeel: sweet fruit, sugars, mixed berries, and a very minimally developed malt core; not overly syrupy, or crisp; a touch flabby overall. Medium finish, showing solidly dry toastiness and a lingering mixed berry note.

ON tap at the brewpub. Color was a little darker than average yellow or gold. Aroma of blueberry and flowery perfume. Flavor was also very perfumy and floral, with a good dose of berries. Just ok.

sampler @ brewery - light gold with faint aromas of cherry and dank fruit; but not very strong change from the regular wheat; i didn’t care much for that and likewise for this one

Draft at the brewpub. Pale yelllow, lightly hazy. Aroma is blueberries and corn sweetness. Flavor is the same, but the same bad fruit beer perfume that showed up in several beers this day.

4oz. sample at the brewpub. I liked this one better than the apricot ale. The flavor wasn’t so potently artificial, plus it tasted like blueberry pie, and I love blueberry pie. I don’t usually go for these fruit beers, but this one was OK. My only complaint is that it could have used a little more complexity with the flavors mentioned in the beers description. The only thing I smelled and tasted was blueberry.

Hazy yellow. Aroma of Crunchberry Cereal. A little berry essence and a little wheat in the flavor. Finishes with a little zesty citrus.
