Commercial Description:
Our Black Cat Stout is a mild Irish Dry Stout brewed using a blend of Chocolate, Carafa, Crystal and Munich malts. A small amount of wheat and oatmeal are added to give the beer body and mouth feel. The stout is pressurized and served using a special Nitrogen gas blend, which leaves a beautiful cascading and creamy head.

On tap @ Valley Brewing poured an opaque black with a minimal brown head. Aromas of coffee, black malt and a hint of bitter chocolate. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee and roastiness with a smooth dry bitter finish.

Draft. on nitro. Black beer with a big beige nitro head. Roasty, slight chocolate/coffee flavors. Low roasty aroma. Some hops, but the malts show through and shine.

Very soft and dry with a creamy cocoa mouthfeel. Very clean and unastringent palate. Nice mild mocha and vanilla flavors. Exceptionally clean and dry finish. What an Irish dry stout should be.
