aspidites (1268), manteca, California, USA Nov 20, 2007 Floral and slightly vegetative nose (as all the Bravo hopped beers were). Some earthy and slightly cheesy notes on the palate (also a Bravo trait). Well balanced, one of the best of the Bravo brews. beerguy101 (3468), Newark, California, USA Aug 30, 2007 Tasted on tap at the 2nd Annual Drakes IPA Festival. This IPA pours a medium orange color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is earthy and floral, and as with all of these bravo hop beers quickly gone. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are caramel and fruity. Hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Touch more bitterness that seems to linger. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
