Clear, caramel-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma is an intoxicating whirlpool of buttery caramel, brandy, whiskey, wood and golden raisins. Full-bodied and syrupy with restrained carbonation. Lots of caramel malt and residual sugar with lesser degrees of alcohol and dark fruit. It’s warm, but not 13% warm. The cask aging has rounded off any rough edges. Malt bomb. Boozy, bittersweet finish. Big props to SoLan for acquiring this world class masterpiece and sharing it with the crew! bu11zeye (5442), Frisco, Texas, USA
